Mentoring

A Closer Look at Everwise Mentors

By Laura GluhanichJuly 26, 2017

The community of Everwise Mentors are inspiring to work with every day. It’s fascinating to learn the mix of backgrounds they have and different experiences they bring to the mentoring partnerships we facilitate as a part of the experiences we provide.

In the past, we’ve shared an infographic summarizing facts about the community. In addition, we regularly feature in-depth interviews with individual mentors, to get a view into how they got to where they are today, and how mentoring has impacted their lives.

And, we see a constant stream of updates from both protégés and mentors. They share the impact they have seen and experienced, where partnerships have supported new roles, expanded responsibility, addressed challenging assignments, and helped achieve stretch goals. We are always looking for ways to share this information back out, to tell the stories of our community and further their impact.

Recently a few of our mentors spent a couple of hours with us, sharing their take on mentoring, the Everwise approach, and what they get from spending their time supporting professionals in their development. We created a video to highlight their stories. It’s an eye opening piece, especially for anyone curious to learn more about the people who mentor through Everwise, or the benefits mentors see from offering their time and expertise to their protégés.

We are incredibly grateful for all of our mentors. A special thank you goes out to Deborah Holstein, Adam Stein, and Emily Ryan for taking the time to share their perspectives with us.
